Semi-finalists will be reviewed by a panel of investors.

All semi-finalists will receive pitch coaching with Foodbytes by Rabobank.

Five companies will be selected for the finals and must be available between noon and 7pm EST on Thursday, November 16th, 2023.
The 1st place winner takes home $25,000 in equity-free capital, a Platinum pass & flight to SXSW 2024, and two passes to the Supply Change Capital Founders in Food Tech house at SXSW.
The first runner up will also receive a stipend to attend SXSW 2024 and two passes to the Supply Change Capital Founders in Food Tech house at SXSW.

What is the Female Founders in Food Tech pitch event?

The Female Founders in Food Tech Pitch Event (F^3) is for early stage food and agriculture technology companies with a focus on companies founded and led by women.

Who can submit a pitch?

Applications are open to founders innovating in food and ag tech who have raised less than $1 million in capital.

Do I have to be present to win?

If you’re selected as a finalist, you’ll be required to take part in the Finalist Pitch event on November 16th.

What is the timeline?

  • Applications are open until October 15th
  • Five Semi-Finalists notified on November 11th
  • The Pitch Final Event is on November 16th in Los Angeles
  • The 1st place winner and the first runner-up will head to SXSW 2024

What are the prizes?

The 1st place winner takes home $25,000 in equity-free capital, a Platinum pass & flight to SXSW 2024, and two passes to the Supply Change Capital Founders in Food Tech house at SXSW.

What criteria will be used to judge applicants?

  • Early stage-companies that have raised less than $1 Million USD in outside capital at the time of application.
  • Companies incorporated in the United States.
  • Companies where at least 50% of founder shares are held by women.
